Yasmin Roshanian is a writer and editor. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University and a BA in English literature and creative writing from UCLA, where she wrote her senior honors thesis (a novella) under the advisement of Mona Simpson. Her work has appeared in BOMB, Catapult, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. She is currently at work revising a novel that explores the contours of an Iranian-American identity, the unruliness of girlhood, and familial secrets. Yasmin is represented by Mina Hamedi at Janklow & Nesbit.
